Support legislation to ban horse slaughter

Please help state Rep. Bob Molaro, D-Chicago, to pass the bill prohibiting the operation of a business in Illinois that would slaughter horses for human consumption overseas. This is barbaric treatment of these beautiful animals with whom we have had a long tradition of proud horsemanship in this state.

Please help the people involved in this business to come to their senses before it is too late. This law is long overdue if consideration is even being given to such an endeavor.
